In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Jan. 11 against Jacob Kenneth Hartman of Jefferson on a charge of criminal mischief- fifth degree. He was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge; both were suspended. He was placed on unsupervised probation to the Greene County sheriff for 12 months. Court costs were not available on Iowa Courts Online.
Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Ryan J. Murphy of Jefferson, interference with official acts; and Ryan Douglas Patterson of Jefferson, assault, and in a separate case, violation of a protective order.
